Scott J. Nally
Ohio EPA Director Scott J. Nally was sworn into office by Governor John Kasich on January 10, 2011, and brings more than 20 years of public and private environmental management experience to the position.

Nally leads the cabinet-level agency that is responsible for implementing federal and state regulations to protect human health and the environment while ensuring the environmentally sound operations of business and government activities imperative to economic growth.

Nally comes to Ohio EPA after most recently spending the last six years at Ohio’s sister agency in Indiana.

Nally has a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in science from the University of Wyoming.
